Number of modules

The student begins preparing for studies immediately after passing the pre-educational interview and enrollment. He gets his first homework assignment – read the literature and links to video tutorials.

The preparation consists of the following topics:

  • Introduction. Design processes.
  • Scrum: flexible workflow.
  • Figma: interface, basic elements, limitations.
  • Figma: Components, auto-layout.
  • How to interview a client.
  • Start: 1st business interview for the project.

We master the psychological aspects of the future design project. We focus on the ability to understand the audience of the project, to hear the customer. In the end, we will learn how to find the right solution by designing first on paper and then in a graphics editor.

This module covers the fundamental design topics: composition, grid, color, typography, navigation. Students will master the gestalt principles of visual design, Nielsen’s heuristics for interfaces, fundamental approaches to building navigation.

At the end of the module, each student will design a unique solution for site design, behind which is a real customer. The student will test the project and defend their results based on informed decisions.

The module consists of the following topics:

The module starts with the study of professional UX techniques, after which we will analyze the psychology of human perception, vision and memory. Together with mentors, we will deal with objects, hierarchies, properties; we will understand how a person searches and finds the necessary information, and how it filters by discarding inappropriate information. These skills will allow you to better understand the structure of the design product.

Upon completion of this module, all students design and create in practice the design of the admin panel, be sure to protect it in front of the customer. This project will be the first in the portfolio.
