1st Stage

Registration

07 May - 05 June

At this stage, participants provide their personal information and write a letter of motivation showing their desire for participating in the camp.

2nd Stage

Online Test

12 June

The first (Qualifying) stage wil consist of an online exam. Participants will be provided 25 questions to be solved and submited within 2 hours after the start of exam.

3rd Stage

Interview

17 - 19 June

The third (final) stage of the challenge will be conducted in an interview format based on mathematical problems. Based on the results, students will be eligible to participate in the camp on a scholarship or paid basis.

Participation in the selection stages is free of charge.

Students who successfully pass the selection process will earn the right to attend the camp and will be offered one of the following tuition options based on their performance and financial need:

  • 5 students will receive a 100% scholarship (no tuition fee),

  • The remaining participants will earn the right to attend the camp with various discounts based on their results.

The 6-day intensive program includes accommodation, meals, camp materials, math training, extracurricular activities, and final prizes — all covered by the organizers.

This social project is organized by ABB Tech Academy and the Young Social Entrepreneurs group, aiming to discover talented students and promote the science of mathematics.

Students who have successfully passed the selection stages will be involved in intensive training which will be held at Guba region at Guba Palace hotel.

The program is designed by math experts to encourage participants to work collaboratively on a range of absorbing mathematical problems. These learnings skills are essential for success in various fields of digital era.

Within the framework of the program, students will gain various new knowledge about differentiation and its applications, integration and its applications, vectors, lines and planes in space, Ordinary differential equations and acquire theoretical and practical problem solving skills.

The program is designed for students who are graduated from 10th grade and made it to 11th grade and who are passionate about mathematics and technology.

Math problems and cases will cover topics that students have studied in their school books.

The online test stage will take place on June, 11. The participants will be provided assignments consisting of 25 tasks that will require an answer in the form of a digit and/or a letter. At this stage, 2 hours (since the start of exam) will be given to submit the answers. Each participant has only 1 attempt to start the solution.

The interview stage of the challange will take place in offline format at ABB Tech Academy. Participants will introduce themselves and will be given 5 assignments that are expected be provided in a detailed solution.

Summer Math Camp will be held in english language. Knowledge of English is essential.
